《夜的盡頭》

這是另一本無意間發現的書，延伸閱讀萬歲！喜歡書中田野故事和詩意文字的切換變奏，以我牙牙學語等級的拙筆，大概率無法把這本書介紹得好，以下節錄照抄書中文字，先學著點。

Then a traveler in the dark,
Thanks you for your tiny spark,
He could not see which way to go,
If you did not twinkle so.

帶一盞燈走進黑暗，只能看到光。（To go in the dark with a light is to know the light.）
要了解黑暗就要走入黑暗，什麼都不帶。（To know the dark, go dark. Go without sight,）
然後發現黑暗，原來也是，活力充沛且令人愉悅，（and find that the dark, too, blooms and sings,）
可以讓我們踩著黑暗的足跡，乘著黑暗的翅膀，旅行。（and is traveled by dark feet and dark wings.）

沒錯，大概沒有人感受不出樂蜀酒店（Luxor Hotel，請見《愛迪生電燈泡控訴狀》）那相當於四百億燭光的天際星光的視覺震撼效果。當法國太陽王路易十四在1688年想用照亮凡爾賽宮的方式，戲劇性呈現王權威儀時，他也只用了兩萬四千根蠟燭而已。
